Evangicamp

Evangelism

I'm excited to announce the first ever Boulder Evangicamp. It's a little idea that came out of a meeting I had with Josh Larson, of madKast. We were exchanging evangelistic tales from the trenches and our discussion lead to some brainstorming. What would happen if we had more than two evangelists talking about how to better reach out to users? A no-brainer, really. So Josh took the reins and organized most of the event, while I kindly offered up the Lijit office to host everyone.

What?   EVANGICAMP

When?  Thursday, December 6th at 5:30 p.m.

Where? The Lijit HQ...1050 Walnut St., Suite 340, Boulder

Who?  Right now, besides Josh, Barney and myself, we definitely have Emily of Fuser, Josh from Intense Debate, Dean from Me.dium, and a few other surprise guests coming.

If you are working as an evangelist (or equivalent) in the Denver or Boulder area, we would like to invite you to join us as we brainstorm, discuss and sympathize with one another. We have the drinks covered but if you wanted to bring a little something to share, that would be cool. (I'll be bringing some baked goods!) You can email me or Josh (josh at madkast dot com) with any questions and we hope that this is the start of something good!

I heard about this a while back on the MadKast blog and I'd really love to attend, if possible. I'm not currently a company evangelist, but I'm extremely interested in learning more about the science of "getting the message out" and converting prospects into users.

Hello Tara,
This sounds like a rousing good time. I've recently been interested in learning effective ways to proselytize the masses. Will the baked goods you're planning on bringing be unleavened? Also, will we have the option of grape juice along side the wine? Count me in if you are planning to cover all the most important points between Genesis and Lijiticus?
Blessings to you my dear and Amen!

awesome to see you start it up! See you there!
